The Bean gets his 3d goggles ready for the Imax theater
Yesterday as we loaded up for Fun Friday, storm clouds began a brewing. We kept positive attitudes and contiued on our merry way. The parking lot at Moody Gardens was slammed packed, but we were patient and found a great space. Since a storm loomed, we headed inside to buy our season pass. That way, we could go to any attraction, any time, as many times as we want!
We found out the 45 minute Imax movie "Dinosaurs 3D", narrated by Micheal Douglas, was playing, so the bean and I had lunch, and headed in to see the movie. He wasn't about to keep the huge 3d glasses on for long...but he had fun.
We learned there was a dinosaur that weighed as much as 8 elephants! Others were more closely related to birds than lizards and some even had feathers. Patton actually made it through about 40 minutes of the movie, moving around and dancing about.

Man was it fun! There were water squirters everywhere and lots of splashing to be had. After wearing the Bean out, we headed home for a bottle and nap. What a fun fun fun friday!!!
