Destin 2009!!! We got the Bean up at 3 am and loaded up the big bus. It looked as though Willie Neslon himself was staying at our house! When we tried to crank the bus...bad news. Battery dead! Not to fear! Our local mechanic (daddy) fixed it with Uncle Johnny and we were on our way.
As we pulled down the street the Billy Sullivan family stood on the side of the road with their thumbs out for a ride. We were ready to hit the road.

We finally made it to Destin after stopping off at Cracker Barrell (of course) for biscuits and gravy. The kiddos were so excited we let them hit the beach with all their clothes on. One of the waves got my white pants pretty good. Patton ended up with sand everywhere, but fun was had by all.
On the night of the 4th of July, everyone was in their red white and blue. Above, you see cousin Grant and Patton, buddies, watching a movie.

This was mommy braving a bathing suit at 6 months pregnant. At least Patton has more rolls than me!

The Bean is a rennesiance man, and likes to do yoga on the beach. This is his downward facing dog. He wasn't quite sure about the sand, but he got over it.

You see the chaos here. This was an attempt to get all 7 cousins in one picture. They weren't even still for 10 seconds before hell broke loose. I love Patton's face in this picture!
We headed home yesterday and had a little adventure. The bus's air went out as well as the generator....right there at Pat's restaurant between texas and baton rouge. The boys dropped us off at Wal Mart to play while they headed to NAPA. Three hours later, we were back on the road!
We landed safely at home and now we are up to our eyeballs in unpacking and settling back in at home. We are happy to be here! It was a wonderful vacation!
Looks like a great time. We love to see the Bean mixing with his cousins so well.
