What a gorgeous, windy day. Patton and I loaded up early and headed to the Seawall around 7:45 this morning. Somebody (not mentioning any names, BEAN) got up very early so I thought it was going to be touch and go for our adventure. What a good sport he was! Even though pushing the babies (Aunt Ja ja, Ella, and Mallie Jaymes joined us) through the heavy wind was like pushing a Mack Truck, it was a great workout.
To reward ourselves, we ate pancakes at the IHOP afterwards. My flavor? Plain ole' buttermilk with butter (claro, que si!), syrup, bananas, and strawberries. Ella's had a smiley face on them. Patton had sweet potato puffs and sweet potatoes for breakfast. He and Mallie had fun squealing at each other and anyone else who wanted to listen.
Now the Bean is fast asleep and it's clean up time for mommy. Next up? Who knows...we have the whole day ahead! Whatever the case may be, there will be music and singing involved for sure, as there always is.
