Saturday we had a shower for Miss Lynsey for the new arrival of baby Madelyn Leigh Ginsberg. She will (clearly) be Carolina's bud, so we are super excited! These are the Galveston girls: Abbey, Liz, Erin, Hayley, Lisa, & Lindsay
Such a cute idea! Miss Shelby had the idea to monogram onsies and string them like a clothes line. Super cute!
The Hostesses with the mostesses: Karen, Jocelyn, Shelby, Lindsay, Lynsey (momma!), Susan, me, Abbey, & Hayley. Jocelyn's new house was the unsaid hostess. It was a great place to have a party!

Now...the best thing we had at the shower was the hot chicken salad that Karen made. It was a Paula Deen recipe and it must be shared: IT IS TO DIE FOR, Y'ALL.
Ingredients
2 cups cooked chicken breast meat, cubed
1 cup diced celery
1/2 cup slivered almonds
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup grated sharp Cheddar
2/3 cup crushed potato chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 13 by 9-inch baking dish with vegetable oil cooking spray.
In a large mixing bowl combine the chicken, celery, almonds, salt, pepper, lemon juice, mayonnaise, and cheese. Place the mixture in the prepared baking dish. Spread the crushed potato chips on top. Bake for 20 minutes, or until bubbly.
