My little Bean is One whole year old today! I just can't believe it...what a year it's been! This picture was taken with my blackberry as he was trying to grab it, so pardon the fuzz. More pictures to come, of course!
We woke him up by singing the birthday song, then he got to open his present from mommy and daddy...a brand new swing! We aren't sure whether it's going on one of the trees out front, or on the deck. Either way, Patton is gonna love flying....which is why he has an airplane on his shirt today.
Ahhh....the little General. He has certainly earned that title...four stars at that. * * * *
What's that you say? What will we do today? Well, since it's DOUBLE fun Friday for the birthday boy......oh wait. We woke up and didn't have water and probably won't get it back for the next 48 hours. And since Bean ate a piece of chicken and got it stuck in his esophagus this week, and we spent two days waiting for doctors at Texas Children's to get it unstuck....meaning mommy was up for 48 straight hours (minus three for a nap)....Guess what? We aren't struggling today! No siree bob. Could I boil water every 5 minutes to wash bottles? Yes. Could I boil water again to brush my teeth? Yes. But I don't have to. Not after this week.
So, we're packing up and heading out...whether it's to gigi's, or one of the family fun hotels on the island, mommy's not messing around today.
It's the Bean's birthday....time to celebrate, not aggravate! Time to make the most!
