Patton attended his first Mardi Gras Parade on Saturday. Galveston was crowded with people coming back to the island to celebrate. It was nice to see the Seawall with so many visitors again.
The bean and his mommy had to be very sly to even get to the parade. The seawall was blocked off and we had to have an adventure around Galveston...but we made it!
Everyone was in great spirits. We watched the parade from the deck of the Spot hamburger restaurant, owned by Dennis, a friend of ours. Many of Patton's cousins and friends were there, too. He wrapped up in his duck blanket to be cozy.
This is Miss Hayley. She is the creative genius (and one of Patton's crushes;) that did his announcement/holiday card. To see more from this genius, visit: http://www.hayleyhardcastle.com/
Patton thinks Miss Hayley is a honey bunny.
Patton's cousin, Mallie Jaymes. Malllie was born 6 days before P...they are buds for life.
May I have those beads, please?
After the big parade, lots of dancing with mommy, and dodging beads all day, Patton was pooped out. Mardi gras makes me sleepy, mom.
