PATTON'S SONG FOR THE DAY: "Midnight Rambler" by the Rolling Stones
At the moment, Patton is sleeping soundly after a big morning. After sleeping in his crib (all night, with minor hiccups along the way!!) he woke up a happy boy, playing with his feet, which he has just discovered. He thinks feet are awesome, and plays with his constantly.
After a breakfast of milk, we headed off for the mommy & patton show...with errands to run and people to visit. Gigi and Big are back from their Austrailia trip, and we wanted to see them! He and his cousins made signs yesterday and we went and hung them on the bannister of Gigi's house. It was a good mission, and Patton was a good spy.
So, off we went, only to discover mommy's tire was flat. Patton likes being the man about town, so we took our rig over to the tire store. One new tire, a rotation, and a HUGE set of dirty pants later, we were on our way to see Big and Gigi.
Now, with a full belly, he's sleeping away.
Someone sent us the cuteste pair of Robee baby shoes, which he's been sporting around today (seeing as how he was helping mommy do very manly things) with Dump trucks on them...but the package didn't come with a card. He loves them! Thank you to whoever sent them!
Happy sent the dump truck shoes in honor of Patton's hard working Daddy. AND to make up for the lavender "Kansas City fruitcake duds" I sent earlier while obviously under the influence of a stiff margarita. Love you, Sweet Boy. Happy & Bebo
ReplyDeleteHappy....Never,never,NEVER apologize for how we dress(or dressed) our little ones. We were good, despite what they(Beth and Sae) say!!
ReplyDeleteGreat new blog. You still have the writer's touch. We'll be glad to be able to keep up with the Buckaroo's exploits on a daily basis.
ReplyDeleteThe Bean looks great! I can tell he's been chugging his milk! He is getting SO big. I call George "Bean" too! That made me laugh when I read that. We need to get your baby book back to you, and give some love to Patton. Thanks for keeping us up to date, we love hearing about how wonderful he is doing.
